Stacey Smith-Bradfield is a practicing nurse practitioner, a full time mother of two, and an endeared wife.  Her oldest child, Quincy, is a Type 1 diabetic since the age of seven.  Quincy participates in several organized sports as well as enjoys rigorous weekend activities with the family, which are all a challenge with diabetes.  Stacey’s younger child, Abigail, loves life and her older brother dearly.  When Stacey is not marathon training or caring for her children, she enjoys quality time with her husband by the foothills in Colorado.

Dayna Frei is a freelance writer and mother of two daughters, Hannah, a teenager with Type 1 diabetes as well as Celiac’s disease, and Madeline, who has Tourette’s syndrome.  Dayna is dedicated to keeping things in the realm of normal, and is a slave to all things organized and crafty (not in that order).  She and her husband, Joe, own a business in beautiful Colorado Springs, where they all reside with 2 horses, 2 dogs, a scary cat, and various other animals that shed.
